Hello, I’m Sonia Kakkar, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I received my Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Denver in 2020.
My approach is deeply rooted in empathy, compassion and being straightforward. With extensive experience supporting adolescents facing suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, and trauma, I understand how to guide clients in restructuring negative thought patterns and behaviors. Together, we’ll break negative cycles and create lasting, positive change.
I believe therapy is more than just addressing symptoms—it's a transformative tool to help you foster resiliency and emotional well-being. Through collaboration, we will explore your experiences, set specific goals, and work toward building a fulfilling, balanced life.
